Information about ISO 14001:2015

What is it?

ISO 14001:2015 is an internationally recognized standard that specifies requirements for an Environmental Management System (EMS).

It provides guidelines for establishing policies and procedures that ensure improved environmental performance in compliance with legal requirements.  The standard helps organizations continuously monitor environmental aspects and minimize their negative impact.

Implementing ISO 14001:2015 not only reduces environmental impact but also improves process efficiency, leading to cost reduction. Holding the ISO 14001:2015 certificate demonstrates environmental responsibility and commitment to sustainable development.

Structure

The structure of the ISO 14001:2015 standard is aligned with the requirements of the Annex SL document. The system is compatible with other management systems, such as ISO 9001:2015, which makes integration more efficient.
